Our projects
We invest in education and character development along three guiding principles.
We support gifted young people in need to increase the effectiveness and sustainability of the support.
We promote education so that those supported can contribute to their society and, through multiplication, enable the support of other young people.
We invest in areas where no other organization is pursuing similar projects; at the same time, collaboration with other organizations is both sensible and desirable.
With the support of the Donors' Association for German Science, the ABC Foundation for Latin America was established in 1999. From 2001 to 2005, the foundation was administered by Jugend Dritte Welt, an organization of the Salesians of Don Bosco. Since 2006, the ABC Foundation for Latin America has been a legally independent foundation recognized by the government of Upper Bavaria, with an endowment of approximately €500,000.

Today – 30 years later – ALALAY is one of the most established projects in Bolivia. In 2021, the foundation donated four laptops for the children of ALALAY.
